  This office needs new methods. My sister came in for an appointment seeking help from her doctor who she expected to see for pain management help and recommendation , was handed off to a insubordinate nurse practitioner . After being on pain medication for 28 years, yes, belonging to this forgotten group of patients who are now treated as street junkies when the medical profession turns there back. With a valid prescription all of these years for a very painful lifelong medical issue. After getting the runaround on her appointments, she was left in the hands of a nurse practitioner. , who in know way should even practice medicine or be around any patient. You see, she needs to read up on her ethic code. The doctor there that my sister has, needs to do some checking into this person. DO NO HARM. When someone comes to you seeking help you step up, you make sure you deal with your patient and you get them help. She is not a drug addict off the street. She is a patient that wants and needs help. Follow through !!!!! Also she had a recent fall, with a nasty cut on her head, she told me she was so upset she couldn't talk through her crying because this so called nurse practitioner made her feel like a junkie. Then my sister was told they would not be prescribing her regular medication and IF she happens to withdrawl, drop her at the emergency room. This women looked at her wound on her head from her accident , tells my sister that it was infected, from a distance , then never even looked at it to get rid of this so called infection. She also had 2 broken arms that need attention. This nurse practitioner should have basically shut her mouth, realized this situation was beyond her scope, and made sure my sister saw her medical doctor. Remember ...............DO NO HARM. If you did not know what you were doing , you should not act like you do. You should not assume. You should not make foolish comments or decisions for anyone and again, you should not judge a patient. You did not even know her case, Do you even have her very lengthy history chart ? Did you look at it ?? You rushed to a judgement on someone. You, and My sisters Doctor Siracov, , and your office staff should really take a step back and if you cannot work with someone, you do everything in your power to get this person help you work with them and you DO NO HARM . It takes compassion and understanding a patient and there history, Maybe, it would be a good idea to shut this office down and readjust your ethics and training for your whole staff, A concerned family Member. Who will look into this situation deeper.
